The Blue Ribbon Panel’s report, presented to the National Cancer Advisory Board on September 7th, describes 10 recommendations for the Cancer Moonshot goal of accelerating cancer research. Cancer Moonshot’s goal of 10 years of progress in 5 is bringing diverse communities together to fight cancer. With this focus and commitment, the panel gave thought to areas where efforts can be made to fast track cancer research including a network for direct patient involvement, building a national cancer data ecosystem, developing a 3D cancer atlas, and seven more excellent recommendations.
