inVentiv Clinical Trial Recruitment Solutions (iCTRS) shared good news in a recent article posted on dddmag.com regarding  perceptions of potential clinical trial participants.. The Center for Information and Study on Clinical Research Participation (CISCRP) conducted research regarding the public perception of clinical trials, and collaborated with iCTRS to present the results at a recent seminar in Princeton, NJ. CISCRP’s Founder and Board Chair Ken Getz stated, “Since the last assessment of the public’s perception of, and experiences in, clinical trials eight years ago, we’ve seen marked improvements in public perceptions about clinical research and participation.”

Researchers from CISCRP used behavioral data to implement the study, which collected responses from almost 6,000 people. Results from the study present insight into the decision-making process and motivational drivers, which will be useful when pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies create clinical trial recruitment plans.
